Drainfield Installation
Drainfield and Leach Field Installation in Ocala
The drainfield is where treated effluent finally returns to the soil, and it is the part of the system that fails most often. Madefreshdailybakeshop builds gravel trench and plastic chamber fields sized from your soil percolation rate so wastewater disperses underground instead of surfacing in the yard or backing up into the house.
Why Drainfields Fail
- Skipped pumping. Sludge that overflows a full tank drifts into the field and clogs the soil, the single most common cause of failure.
- Saturation. A high seasonal water table around Marion County lakes leaves no room for effluent to drain.
- A settled D-box. When the distribution box tilts, one trench takes all the flow and drowns while the rest sit dry.
Our Process
We evaluate the soil and the failed field first, because a new field on the same bad soil will fail again. After a perc test confirms the drainage rate, we pull the Marion County permit, lay perforated distribution pipe in washed gravel or set plastic leaching chambers, and level a fresh distribution box so every lateral shares the load. Non woven filter fabric and clean backfill finish the job.
